Why people pick LivePoll
No voter cap
Many free plans stop counting at 50 or 100 people. Free polls here take as many voters as show up.
No ads for your voters
Voters see your question and your answers, and there are no ads around them.

Free, with no catch
A poll maker that stays free
Most free poll makers have a catch: a cap on voters, ads on the voting page, or a signup before you can make anything. LivePoll is a free poll maker with none of those. You type a question, add answers and publish, and as many people as you like can vote.
It works for a quick pollmaker job, like picking a lunch spot, and for a room full of people, like a lecture or an all-hands.

How long it lasts
How long your poll and results last
A poll you make without an account stays open for 24 hours. With a free account it runs up to 7 days, and the results stay in your account for a year. Pro polls keep their results forever.
Paste a list into an answer box and each line becomes its own answer. It's the fastest way to turn a list of options into a poll.
Poll or survey?
A poll maker, not a survey tool
LivePoll asks one question at a time and shows the answer live. That's a different job from a survey, which collects many questions and reports later. If you need a long form, a survey tool fits better. If you need a room to answer right now, a live poll is quicker and far more fun to watch.
